fly tying material

Can you stay for me a good fly tying?
I'm tying flies for a short time, and I want a good reference on fly to bind to. I Do not Need A "beginner" book, and I do not necessarily want the latest book or with the samples. What I want is a solid, well-known reference written by a renowned fly tier, and that many "classical" model, perhaps with basic bonding / material instructions, and then to fly a little background and / or the instructions for each fishery. I think Ted Leeson's "Benchside reference," but I've looked through seems only techniques – no real pattern instructions. Older books are in order, as long as some form of photos and illustrations. Thank you!
The Orvis pattern indices are difficult to beat. And you're right that the more Benchside Reference for the technique as a model. I think it is a "must have" but It is a supplement that I only recommend After some basic patterns and basic techniques. Mastered Dave Hughes' "Essential Trout Flies" is also excellent. And if you want, there are still a few dollars to spend, his "Trout Flies" is everything you will ever need. Thick book, and about $ 50, but with excellent Information loaded. No, I'm not Dave Hughes) and there are many other books that are fair to good (maybe better). I have to bind for 30 years, and the Book, which I use most often is the Orvis pattern index (number of volumes, which are difficult to find, but usually appear on eBay fairly often). The book immediately available, the two are hard to beat Hughes if trout is your goal. For an online reference, and in the look http://www.flyanglersonline.com/ Fly Tying Section for the teaching of Al Campbell, a great fisherman, EXCELLENT animal (and) even better person. This little series is excellent, and there are a variety of patterns, there is with good to very good instructions and equipment for fishing them, once you have committed them. Al Campbell was a real fly fisherman, together with all that he knew who asked. He taught (literally) hundreds of thousands, to tie flies, and I think about him every time I tie a fly on a leader. His series is worth a visit worth, no matter how long you have been committed.
