What are some good ice fishing bait / lures for ice fishing rainbow trout?

I plan on going ice fishing in a lake in Nova Scotia in rainbow trout and I'm wondering what I should use.

Right now, in Alaska, we use small popcorn shrimp (shrimp salad) to an equally small hook. They work tall. We have limited you each time we went. You can buy the commercial kind of bait to buy, pink, or if the grocery store variety, which are naturally dyed. Both seem to work alike.
